General Tun Ibrahim Library

BACKGROUND
The General Tun Ibrahim Library is formerly known as National Defence University of Malaysia Library. The Library was established on May 1995 when the government agreed to form the Military Academy of Malaysia. The Upgrade of this academy to a university status has also changed the status of the library.

The old location of the library was at level 4 & 5 at Bestari building. On 10th January 2011, the library shifted to a new 35,000 square feet building.

On 15th December 2011, the library was commissioned as the General Tun Ibrahim Library, taking the name of the fifth Chief of Armed Forces, who was also the first recipient of the university's Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Strategic Studies) during the first NDUM Convocation on 2010.
